Livro: Qualidade no Projeto de Edifícios

In 2009 happened a symposium about project quality, SBQP, at the University of Sao Paulo in the city of Sao Carlos. The best themes and articles were combined into what became the book Qualidade no Projeto de Edifícios (Quality in the Design of Buildings) which was released during the event.

One chapter in this book is about collaboration and was written by Regina Ruschel, PhD, from Unicamp's Civil Engineering Department and by Eng. Marcus Granadeiro CEO of Construtivo. The chapter mentions the pioneering project Construtivo participated in with Sao Paulo's Subway System (Metrô).

The talks were idealized in a context where railroad-based works are in continuous expansion, where the need for new technologies to improve the management of these works and of the release of the book about project quality.

On october 19th 2010 Construtivo promoted a talk about the theme "collaboration in infrastructure projects".

The purpose of this event was to learn about the experience of using collaboration in projects such as the Sao Paulo Subway System (Metrô) and in the management of contracts and works in the Sao Paulo Expansion Plan, a great project in Sao Paulo's Metropolitan Train System (CPTM).

Moderated by Regina Ruschel, PhD, from Unicamp's Civil Engineering Department, the event had some of the most important names in the engineering and transportation fields in Brazil present:

Subway: Eng. Sérgio Salvadori, Eng. Gustavo Mazzariol, Arch. Eduardo Maggi
Metropolitan Trains: Eng. Eduardo Wagner
Contractors: Eng. Fernando Leyser - AG
Designers: Eng. José Carlos Simão - Estra
